Eyeball Lounge Lizards: Sleep Station acoustic (part 2)
Welcome to PART 2 of the Eyeball Lounge Lizards series! What is this? Well… when our bands come to our office we are going to force them to perform a song (or 4…) in our office lounge and give a little explanation as to what the song is about, how they wrote it, etc. Who better to kick off Eyeball Lounge Lizards than Eyeball veteran David Debiak from Sleep Station. Watch the video below as he performs (and explains) the song “Paris†off of his newest album album The Pride of Chester James:

Nasty Nate
I work for Eyeball indirectly. I play in Baumer. I suppose that is directly, but I make my own rules. Psssh… whatever. It would be more interesting for you if I had anything to say, but that is not the case. We’re chilling in the office, just a short stop while we’re on our little tour. We love these dudes so we always manage to squeeze it in. It’s always entertaining to guess as to how any work gets done in this environment. Loud music, loud jokes, loud appliances and furniture - everything is so rock and roll. They don’t even have any lights really. Only strobes and smoke.
Sorry for the pause, I was ordering a cocktail. Anyway. To exploit this blog for my own purposes I will tell you about me. We’re touring for the next month, and selling our new record “Were It Not For You.” So if you come to a show, buy it. If you don’t buy it March 4th. Well, my waitress just got back so I’ve got some morning drinking to do. Also, the magician is about to start his act. We’ll see you later.

Free Food For Neglected and Abused Animals
This is really simple.. The Animal Rescue Site is having trouble getting enough people to click on it daily to meet their quota of getting free food donated every day to abused and neglected animals. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate food to abandoned/neglected animals in exchange for advertising.
Here’s the web site: www.theanimalrescuesite.com. Just click on “feed an animal in need” for free. It’s in a purple box in the middle of the page. This doesn’t cost you a thing. Do it or you will go to hell. Please help spread the word as well!

Germany Loves You Sleep Station!
Below is a translated version of a German Sleep Station review:
“Normally David Debiak singer is with the skirt formation new London Fire, but war’s now times time for a solo project. But Debiak a row musician (all old of buddy, among other things its brother Jason) geschaart around itself and plays clearly calmer music than in its master formation. Altogether it wrote and took up three years its solo Songs between the routes things again and again. Raus come thereby very melodioese Indie Pop numbers which introvertiert mostly and melancholisch rueberkommen and quite Country affected are. Owing to Debiaks of beautiful voice the compositions are equipped with pretty Meldodien, which settle fast in the ear. Stilistisch remind its TRACKS here and there of large models of the Indie scene - without however too close to come. One feels ereinnert to the Brights Eyes, Pernice Brothers, Elbow or also Grandaddy here and there, but these names are indicated only as rough direction. Because one would do to David Debiak wrongly, if one would state, it klaege on its debut album “The Pride OF Chester James” after its models. In addition the man is much too independent!”

New Atlantic Preview
Check out the preview of the upcoming New Atlantic video. It featured Gio as a 2 year old singing “We Are The World” in his Sunday best. Also note: at the end of the video he clearly states “I don’t wanna sing!”. Who knew??
